Kath & Kim premiered last night.
NBC writes about the pilot: SERIES PREMIERE: Kim decides to move back home, putting a damper on Kath’s new romance.

Neither Amazon or NBC is letting people outside the US view the episodes from their sites, but the first episode is already available to download from the internet.

There is a poll at Uk.eonline.com whether the audience wants to save or sink the show.

Most of the reviews I have read so far are not in favour of the show, but I have visited several forums where a lot of people have been very excited about the show, and it seems like a lot of younger kids liked it, as well as their mothers.

So the question is simply 'WHAT DID YOU THINK'? Discuss in the forums.
Personally I think it generally will depend on age and location, but I don't know.

KATH & Kim producer and the husband of star Gina Riley, Rick McKenna, appreciated how "openly consultative" his Americans peers were when adapting the hit Australian sitcom.

"On day one, everyone's sitting around wide-eyed, asking Gina, Jane and me questions," McKenna says. "Day two there's more questions about why characters did this or that, but by week three it was 'Rick, have you been to the Napa Valley? It's wonderful -- you should all go there'."

Not that the Kath & Kim trio is complaining. A process that usually ends in disappointment, recriminations and dashed hopes for Australians pitching content to the Hollywood studio system has resulted in something tangible for them. Kath & Kim's American iteration airs for the first time in the US on Thursday before screening -- and being judged -- here on the Seven network on Sunday night.

McKenna says the process could not have gone any better. "From the cast we got and the production team, and the network's support to order 12 episodes -- if that's all they do, so be it, but I've got a feeling it will go longer," he says.

More wonderful pictures of Selma Blair! I am not loving these outfits as much as all her previous 2008 outfits. All her photoshoots are amazing this year, a brand new Selma!

Last update today is of her from the Gothic Dark Glamour Book Signing Event at ILORI. She looked stunning! It is the cutest dress I have seen this season.
She wore a black lace Chanel Resort 2009 dress. This body-contouring dress, has a nude underlay, and a patent black belt to nip in Selma's waist. She wore her dress with a pair of YSL Trib Two Platform Pumps - which have a gold sole. She also carried a cocoon shaped Chanel Fall 2008 clutch.
